WEIGHT LOSS or WEIGHT CONTROL?

It is often referred to as weight loss, but psychologically I don’t think that this is a good idea. You see, if you lose something, unless it’s been stolen there is a reasonable chance that you might just find it again. And when we are talking about fat, that’s not what we want! I think a better term would be weight control, or even weight management.  Call it what you will, thousands of people, all over the world have turned to hypnotherapy as a fast, safe way to shedding the unwanted.

 

This multitude includes legions that are on the Weight Watchers regime. It is so much easier when you’ve got the enormous power of the subconscious on your side working for you.

 

 

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

 

Well, we must remember that all our habits are controlled by the subconscious mind. Eating the wrong foods, eating between meals and eating too much, a liking for sweet things, or perhaps alcohol, are all habits. Therefore if we can re-programme the subconscious we can change these habits.

 

It is relatively simple, under hypnosis, when the subconscious is open and receptive, to get it to accept new ideas and suggestions.  These ideas and suggestions help to change our behaviour patterns and remove food-related anxieties.

 

It is quite normal for people to achieve a weight loss of between half and one and a half kilos weekly through hypnosis.

 

People who have experienced changes like those mentioned above are often amazed at the power of the subconscious mind. Yes, Bingo! You’ve changed your eating habits and you have started to shed that flab. Jusst like that! You just don’t want those fattening foods any more, so you just don’t eat them. In most cases, because of other ideas I have implanted, subjects find themselves taking more interest in exercise and physical excellence in general.

 

My star client for this year actually reduced her weight by35 kilos, and she, believe it or not, works in a cake shop! In addition to the direct suggestion work mentioned above I also use visualisation techniques. Again the subconscious accepts these as reality and so they help to produce the desired changes.

 

With one visualisation exercise that I use we are actually able to speed up the metabolism and thereby burn up the calories that are not used as energy.
